The Lucky Nova
A franchised vessel of Olia Star Cruises.
Exterior: The Lucky Nova sparkles like a gem against the starscape. Sleek and golden-hued, its hull is vaguely shaped like a gilded sea beast. Massive windows of its central decks reveal the opulence within. The emblem of Olia Star Cruises—a beautiful Ryloth flower and the company's initials—shines prominently at the center. Its windows reveal fleeting glimpses of luxury, promising an unforgettable adventure.
CREW
Crew: Clad in dark burgundy uniforms adorned with gold piping, the crew moves with efficiency and grace. The rank displayed on their sleeves in stripes indicates their position, while the OSC Protection Service stands out in tailored suits, polished armor plates, and meticulously maintained equipment. The aura of professionalism permeates every interaction.
CARGO DECK
A maze of crates, containers, and packages fills the public section of the Cargo Bays. Automated droids weave through the labyrinth, managing The Lucky Nova's everyday necessities. The lighting here is functional, casting a utilitarian glow over the machinery and storage units. The air smells of oil and distant worlds, a testament to the diversity of the barge's clientele.
STEERAGE DECK
The Lucky Nova's Landing Bay is its most cavernous area, allowing for many ships of different sizes to dock. Like many of the guest areas, the Landing Bay is gilded and decorated to exude an aura of wealth and opulence. Several newly built security checkpoints must be crossed before entering the engineering wing or taking the elevator up to the Promenade Deck.
The tight, spartan corridors beyond the Landing Bay starkly contrast with the Lucky Nova's extravagance elsewhere. The barge's heart is where most of its crew and droids live and work. The access elevator near the Lucky Nova's engines leads to the Cargo Deck and is prohibited for guests.
PROMENADE DECK
The Promenade Deck contains most of the Lucky Nova action when it is functioning as a high-end resort. The Casino hosts Sabacc tables, Nova Dice slot machines, and a gorgeous bar. High arches and plush seating areas invite conversation and carousing. Beyond lies the Nebula Bar & Restaurant, lit by a tasteful green neon sign and a grand archway that leads to several staterooms, the Stellar Holo Theater, Starlight Salon, and Olia Paradise Holo Beach. The ship's large working Medbay is located along the same corridor, for ease of access during an emergency. Most of the guest services are now run by a team of hospitality and protocol droids, managed by Jaina Endram.
Food and drink options include:
PASSENGER DECK
Warm, ambient light washes over meticulously crafted furnishings tailored to the tastes of a discerning clientele. Each suite boasts state-of-the-art amenities, oversized windows with stellar views, and an undercurrent of privacy and exclusivity. The sound-suppressed corridors and large staterooms make the deck ideal for private conversations, meetings, and remote work.
Tranquility Spa welcomes guests with gentle, inoffensive music, and walls that glimmer with rare minerals. Beyond lie rooms offering massage, aroma therapy, deprivation tanks, droid oiling services for droids, and more. The largest area of the spa is a floating meditation chamber in zero gravity that hovers above exotic botanicals.
BRIDGE
The Bridge is an impressive technological nexus, commanding a panoramic view of the stars. Glowing consoles provide real-time data, manned by a diverse crew in dark burgundy uniforms, their rank evident in sleeve stripes. A pair of new security checkpoints block Bridge access from both ends of the elevator leading from the Passenger Deck to the Bridge
